Planning a holiday abroad?

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements.  We request you complete and submit a Travel Risk Assessment Form prior to any appointment to determine what travel vaccinations are required. It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible- ideally 6-8 weeks before you travel. Some vaccine courses require several weeks to complete and the vaccine may take up to 21 days to develop adequate immunity. Not all travel vaccinations are free and included in the services provided by the NHS. You may be advised to attend a private travel clinic for further vaccinations.
